I am writing to thank you, Gethin and all members of your Choir for receiving us so royally at St. John’s Church on Saturday June 3rd 2023. Members of our Porthcawl Choir have been as one in expressing their thanks for your warm welcome, help and assistance ahead of the singing and their admiration for your choral performance on stage. Not only were we enjoying the rich depth of bass voices but we were taken on high with John’s lead in “Fields of Athenry.”
It was such a pleasure to see so many of your choristers back with us in the Chatsworth Hotel after the Concert.
It meant a great deal to us all as we reflected on a memorable afternoon marked with the tribute of a standing ovation from a supportive audience.
We were so pleased to sing together in support of St. David’s Hospice and hope that a good contribution from the afternoon will have been made.
